Moments like proving your identity, protecting your account, and sharing sensitive information shape how people feel about a product more than most teams realize. For four years at PayPal, I've used qual and quant methods to help teams understand what's happening for users and decide what to build next across identity, security, risk, and onboarding.

I believe good research unblocks teams from immediate problems they're thinking about, but great research reveals the future problems and opportunities that haven't been thought about yet. Doing that consistently requires a deep understanding of the business and the people in it.

Outside work you'll find me hiking the Cascades and playing pickup basketball.
